My name’s Trixie Marie Venzon and I’m a certified English teacher from the Philippines. I earned my bachelor's degree in Education and passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers in 2010. I have taught English for 8 years. After graduating from college, I worked as a preschool teacher for 3 years in the Philippines and moved to Singapore to work as an English teacher. Teaching in Singapore helped me gain more knowledge about different teaching strategies. It gave me the opportunity to work with people from different cultures and instruct students from diverse backgrounds. I believe, because of this, I became a more versatile and compassionate teacher who remains sensitive to my student's unique needs, differentiates instruction and offers positive reinforcement to keep my students engaged. Teaching has always been my passion. Watching people grow makes me happy.
