Hello, my name is Ben and I am excited to help you learn the English language! A little bit about myself: I am from the United States, specifically the state of Virginia. I graduated from Radford University in 2010 with a degree in Business Administration. After university, I worked in multiple marketing positions but I realized that I wanted to find a job with more purpose. That is when I decided to teach English as a foreign language! I received my TEFL certification in June, 2017, and I am very eager to continue teaching English to students of all ages! During my TEFL course I was able to gain a lot of experience teaching in a classroom. There were students of all ages and all skill levels so I was able to see first-hand the different challenges that come up while learning a new language. I also have multiple years of experience working with children in after-school programs. Students ranged from 5 – 13 years old and I was able to see the different things that help keep children engaged and interested in specific activities. Over the past year I have also been teaching English online through Skype. This has given me the opportunity to understand how to effectively teach a lesson online. I know that learning a new language can be difficult and intimidating at times, so my goal is to create a fun and friendly environment for all students. Learning in a comfortable environment is the best way to learn a new language and to learn the language quickly! Thank you so much for reading my profile and I hope to see you soon! Ben Dailey
