Hello, my name is Kyle and I have been an English Teacher since 2009. I have a Cambridge CELTA qualification and have worked with children, teens, and adults in Vietnam, Spain, Japan, and China. I have taught at a mixture of private English lan-guage academies, university and international school programmes, and have just re-cently joined the Online Teaching family. I have experience in teaching vocabulary, grammar and grammar usage, reading, writ-ing, and speaking as well communication and business speaking and meeting. Besides this, I have also taught academic exam skills and preparation classes such as IELTS, TOEIC, FCE, and CAE. My biggest philosophy would be that learning should be engaging and depend on the needs of the individual learner. If you plan on going to university abroad and want to focus on academic exam skills then we can do that, and likewise if you’d prefer a more conversational approach to practise your fluency then we can do that, too! It all depends on the wants of you, the learner! I am currently living in the UK, but during my time living and working abroad in Spain I undertook Spanish language lessons. My own language learning struggles have not only made me more aware of what challenges language learners face but also more aware of possible ways to overcome these challenges. From this I learned that being patient is key and that making mistakes can be a good thing so long as we learn from them!
