Hello, my name is Kyle and I am a native speaker from Cape Town. I have been teaching English for the past 5years and I really enjoy helping learners reach their linguistic goals. I am a TEFL qualified teacher, and (PGCE) qualified teacher for high schools, in which I have taught both children and adults from China, Vietnam, Germany, USA, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Bolivia, Columbia, and Mexico etc… I have widespread experience teaching both online in a virtual classroom, and in a real classroom environment offline. I am adept in teaching a number of different areas including The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) preparation, Exam preparations for written and oral exams, and Business and Conversational English courses. Additionally, I help with phonetics, slang colloquialisms, vocabulary skills, grammar, pronunciation, fluency, intonation, syntax, and reading skills for both adults and children. I have also spent a number of years working in the psychological field, and am skilled at dealing with psychological English terms, and body language skills. Whether it be for adults or children, my lessons are done in a bi-directional fashion, and I like to make lessons fun, interesting, and where you feel comfortable making mistakes and correcting them with understanding and application. I want learners to get the most out of the time spent with me so for adults I use practical examples such as illustrations, and visual aids, but with children, I like to use props and interactive games to keep them engaged and learning. On a personal note, I am also quite interested in several subjects including, travel and tourism, technology, the sciences, psychology, news, and IT.
