Hello everyone, I am Teacher Eljay. I am an experienced public speaker and educator for almost 10 years and an English tutor for more than 2 years now. I took up a Bachelor of Science in Marine Technology at the university which has led me to communicate in different languages and deal with different nationalities across the globe. I have been teaching English for quite a while now. I enjoy teaching for the reason that I can share my knowledge not only in the language itself but also spreading awareness about safety and leadership. I envision helping create future teachers and leaders. I believe that regardless of our age and profession, we can learn from one another. And on my free time, I am spending it with my 6 months old daughter while listening to the music of every genre depending on my mood, and thinking of ways how I can make each and every lesson more comfortable and easy to understand. My class usually starts with what I call GTK or getting to know my students. Then I integrate the students' interests into our lessons to make sure that they are not just learning, but enjoying every minute of our session and at the end of the day, they are not only equipped with the skills but also have the self-confidence to communicate in English.
