Hi My Name is Michelle and I have been teaching English online since 2019. Having successfully completed my secondary education back in 2000, I went on to be professionally qualified (Certificate level) in Secretarial studies. Some of the other courses I completed at the British Council in Sri Lanka were as follows: Grammar for Business, Effective Writing Skills Advanced, Presentation Skills Advanced, Report Writing. Prior to starting my “working from home” career, I used to work as a Project Assistant to the Operations team at The European Commission (EU) to Sri Lanka and Maldives. Here at the EU, I enjoyed being a part of key/interesting projects like building homes for the less fortunate as well as organizing community programs for people in the villages. Now, as I have resigned from full time work from the corporate sector, I work as an online English teacher whilst also dedicating my spare time as an online visa consultant where I help the non-English speaking community in Sri Lanka fill in their visa applications and help them understand the process. Part of my passion is being of help & a blessing to anyone who is finding it challenging to communicate in English. I would love to be your teacher and help you get better with your English!
